The educational program “Become kookoonari” in Komotini and Tinos

After our action at the 10th Kindergarten of Komotini, we got the approval by the Institute of Educational Policy for the implementation of our educational program “Become kookoonari: an experiential program to create zero waste schools” in primary schools, in collaboration with the environmental organization iSea.

Starting in March 2021 till June 202, the educational program was implemented again at the 10th Kindergarten of Komotini, but also at the Elementary School of Exombourgo in Tinos. The program aims to promote waste reduction and Zero Waste through experiential workshops and educational activities for children, teachers and parents!

The specific program took place during the qualification of Maria Stroumpa (member of kookoonari) in the 3rd Phase of the “START – Create Cultural Change” program, which was implemented by Robert Bosch Stiftung in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki and the non-profit Federal Association of Sociocultural Centers (Bundesvereinigung Soziokultureller Zentren e.V.) and was supported by the Ioannis S. Latsis Foundation and the Bodosaki Foundation.
