Sofia studied to be a kindergarten teacher (A.P.Th.) and also completed postgraduate studies in Environmental Education (A.P.Th.). During her studies, she began to explore different pedagogical approaches, cultures and civilizations through Erasmus programs. This gave her the opportunity to travel and work in schools in France, Portugal and Spain. Returning with a wealth of experiences to Thessaloniki, she started working in environmental organizations designing and conducting workshops with adults and students of different educational levels.
At the same time, she never misses an opportunity to climb mountains, explore seas and spend hours cuddling with her cat, Marina, reading books or watching movies. She became a “kookoonari” because she believes that through cooperation and joint effort, Environmental Education can get away from formalities and mobilize people of all ages!
